For all of the Tumblr babies who are unfamiliar with the 1946 children’s book by Frank Tashlin or the 1967 animated adaptation by Chuck Jones.
Q:So I'm curious here Blue, The future (or present I guess) pages are always in blue while the past are in the red. And you associated those colors with Al and Brendan respectively. So does that mean we will eventually see green pages that focus on Sulla? And will represent a different time period as well? My curiosity is running rampant and I can't stop it! I also wanted to praise you for the wonderful characters and story you've created! I'm always jumping in joy when a new page is out.
Here is basically the way I’ve organized OHS. Al is the character that the story centers around, and the blue sequences are what he is experiencing as the present. The blue sequence begins at his death and proceeds with his awakening because he’s experienced them as one right after the other, with no time gap in between. From then on the blue sequence continues in a straightforward way through 2021.
The red sequences, likewise, begin in 2001 and proceed in a straightforward line. It’s okay to associate this timeline with Brendan because the red timeline will continue past Al’s death, but I still consider Al to be the focal point of this timeline, too, especially early on.
There will be a third timeline that focuses on something with Sulla, but I’m not telling anyone when it’s set yet.
Hi, new followers!
I’ve seen a fairly high number of new followers in the past month or so and I’m genuinely curious as to where you’re all coming from! If you’ve started following me fairly recently, can you let me know how you learned about me and/or OHS?
And finally, here’s the bookend for O Human Star Chapter 3. I will begin posting Chapter 4 in one week, on February 20th. In the meantime, keep an eye on my blog for some Valentine’s Day-related things. Thank you for joining me for 2 years of this comic, and here’s to several more!
