i dont think i seriously want peridot to be redeemed and become a crystal gem, i want her to stay a weaselly little shit. i can’t think of any other female character in american cartoons that’s fulfilled that, like, starscream-y type role of a villainous but ultimately pretty wimpy shitlord with an annoying voice and i love it. i love how diverse all the gem antagonists in this show have been so far
